Sustainable growth from decades of hard work

In 1988 we acquired the freehold of its first building made up of a large showroom and warehouse, to offer an unrivalled service to our growing customer base. We were the first office supply company to work a 24-hour shift system. Picking and packing through the night and delivering the next day.

In 1996 came a great break though with the joining together of two like-minded companies O.E.N.W. and Total Business Systems to form what we now know as Centric. We altered our focus to two main offerings, the next-day supply of office products and the supply of office furniture.

Becoming Centric today

In 2021 Centric joined the RFM group, as they strategically expanded into FF&E and fit-out markets to bolster their full lifecycle. Over the last 25 years, Centric's reputation has rapidly grown thanks to our quality and customer service in the assessment and delivery of ergonomic office furniture solutions and office fit-out to a wide range of customers nationwide.

With a head office and showroom in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, and offices in Harrogate, Leeds, London and Edinburgh, they have over 30 years of product and industry experience.

Handling unusual client requirements

Over the years we've received our fair share of quirky requests from our clients. Our professional team are able to handle these with ease. Simply discuss your project with our team who will be able to advise you on every element. In the past, we've had to deliver a full-size slate bed snooker table complete with cues and balls to an offshore oil rig. As well as supplying two 40ft Christmas trees locally sourced from Cumbria, that then needed to be mounted on top of a gas terminal.
