Sales Executive

At Centric Office Solutions were “Creating spaces to enhance the way you work, live and thrive.”

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Office Furniture / Fit Out / FF&E consultant working within the Cumbria Region.

Ideally, you will be based within the Cumbria Locality with the ability to work in the field, from home and on an agreed basis via the Cumbria office.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Operating across both Cumbria and the Northwest you will promote and sell the customers’ products and services by visiting customers and maximising the opportunities for the business with detailed office/home furniture and fit-out solutions.
  • Develop customer relationships and provide excellent customer service while fulfilling the overall needs of the customer, the sales team and the company itself.
  • Work closely with other internal business functions to achieve results.
  • Perform customer visits and showroom tours and assessments.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Creation and development of new business across the Cumbria & Northwest regions
  • Keep the internal CRM system up to date.
  • Work with the marketing department to undertake marketing campaigns across your region to aid lead generation.
  • Act as a key account manager for key customers where required.
  • To identify sales opportunities with existing clients from our excellent customer base
  • Support and mentor the Sales Support team members by sharing knowledge and best practise from the industry.
  • Attend and represent the company at customer and trade events.

Key Experience Requirements:

  • Sales experience in the office furniture industry
  • History of generating new business opportunities
  • Highly motivated and target-driven.
  • Pro-active approach to sales
  • Proven history of generating and building a sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in sales negotiation
  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills

Personal Attributes Required

  • Must be a driven and personable individual with a positive attitude.
  • Ideally, have a minimum of 3 Years of Sales experience (in furniture)
  • An excellent team builder and motivator who will thrive on working closely with the team to achieve challenging but exciting targets.
  • Excellent commercial acumen coupled with a business development track record.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to process tasks through established procedures.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with customers and external parties.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise own and team workload.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Computer literate and skilled in the use of all MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Salary & Benefits

· Salary £30,000-£40,000 dependant on skills and experience

· Commission on all sales

· Bonus on exceeding targets

· OTE in region of £60,000-£80,000
